This choropleth map colors world countries by economic classification using an ordinal color scale and a natural Earth projection. Users click legend entries to filter the map, dimming non-selected countries and highlighting the chosen category. The visualization uses d3.geoPath for geographic rendering, d3.zoom for panning, and a d3.scaleOrdinal with a spectral scheme. Country boundaries and metadata come from the World Atlas TopoJSON and TSV datasets, with interactive legend filters implemented in SVG.
