This example shows daily air surface temperatures from 1940 through 2024, with one line per year plotted against day of year. The current year (2024) is highlighted in red with a thicker stroke, while historical years fade into a plasma color scale. The code uses d3.scaleLinear, d3.scaleSequential, d3.flatGroup, and d3.line with a defined accessor. The @curran/responsive-axes library renders the axes, while @curran/daily-surface-air-temperature provides the dataset.
