This example presents a horizontal stacked bar chart where each bar represents an animal species, segmented by four numeric categories (A, B, C, D). The bars are differentially shaded by the animal’s group classification (Domestic, Pest, Africa, Marine) using a custom ordinal color scale. Built with D3.js v5, it reads CSV data via `d3.csv` and uses `d3.stack` and `d3.scaleBand` to compute and position the stacked segments within an SVG.
