This example displays a time-series area chart of monthly costs using a smooth basis curve. The x-axis represents the month, parsed from a CSV file, and the y-axis shows the cost value. Built with React and D3, it uses `scaleTime` and `scaleLinear` for axes, `line` and `area` generators with `curveBasis` for the chart paths. Axis labels and tick formatting are applied via `axisLeft` and `axisBottom`.
