This example uses React and D3 v5 to render a bar chart of the ten most populous countries in 2020, based on UN population data loaded via `d3.csv`. The `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear` D3 scales map country names to vertical positions and population to horizontal bar widths, while React components generate the SVG `<rect>` elements. The visualization updates from a loading state to the final chart once the asynchronous data fetch completes.
