It uses React hooks to load CSV data and D3 v5 scales (`scaleBand`, `scaleLinear`) to position rectangles in an SVG. The code manually constructs axes with `xScale.ticks()` and grid lines, while omitting D3’s axis generators, and colors bars in the default black.
