Built with D3.js version 5 and TopoJSON, the visualization loads geographic data from the world-atlas package, combining 50m resolution TopoJSON shapes with a TSV file for country names. The d3.geoPath and d3.geoNaturalEarth1 projection draw the landmasses, while a click handler updates the fill color and logs to the console.
