A choropleth-free world map renders every country as a solid red polygon with a black outline on a yellow background, using an SVG canvas. The visualization loads GeoJSON country boundaries from the world-atlas TopoJSON dataset at 110m resolution. D3 v5’s geoNaturalEarth1 projection and geoPath generator draw the shapes, while TopoJSON’s feature method converts the TopoJSON topology into GeoJSON features for binding to SVG path elements.
