This example displays a horizontal bar chart of the top ten most populous countries. Built with D3 v5, it uses `scaleLinear` and `scaleBand` to map population and country names. The chart features a customized x-axis that formats large numbers using `format('.3s')` and replaces 'G' with 'B'. Both axes remove their default domain lines, while `axisBottom` adds population labels and grid ticks from the CSV data.
