This example displays a static SVG rectangle filled with a background pattern and presents a text summary of a remote CSV file’s size, row count, and column count. It uses d3.csv to fetch business financial data from a GitHub gist, then formats the data with d3.csvFormat to calculate its kilobyte size. The resulting message is rendered into a black `<pre>` element, while the SVG’s embedded image pattern remains empty due to missing href data. The code relies on D3 v5 and plain JavaScript.
