This example shows 2022 US auto sales by brand as a pie chart with an interactive legend. The chart maps each brand's year-to-date sales to a colored arc using `d3.pie` and `d3.arc`, with a manually defined color scale via `d3.scaleOrdinal`. The SVG is generated by D3 v5, and legend entries display each brand name alongside its sales value in thousands. It loads CSV data from a GitHub gist using `d3.csv`.
