This example displays car manufacturer data for the first six months across ten years (2000–2009) as an interactive 3D bar chart. It uses the d3-x3d library to render D3.js-based bar chart multi-series visualizations within an X3DOM scene. The code loads CSV data from a GitHub gist, parses each row into key-value pairs, and binds the resulting dataset to the chart holder using d3.x3d.chart.barChartMultiSeries(). The visualization leverages D3 v5’s CSV parsing and selection APIs, with d3-3d for 3D geometry and X3DOM for WebGL rendering.
