This example visualizes annual car sales for different companies using a pie chart. It displays each company’s sales as colored slices with value labels and a legend showing company names and sales figures. The data is loaded from a CSV file via `d3.csv`, and D3 v5’s `pie`, `arc`, and `scaleOrdinal` functions generate the chart and color mapping. The SVG rendering positions slices at the center of a 960-by-500 canvas, with legend items placed to the right.
