A green, circular face animates within an SVG canvas, with two eyes and rectangular eyebrows. The d3.v5 code uses `transition.duration` to animate the eyebrows vertically, creating a startled expression. A red mouth, drawn as an arc with the `d3.arc` API, completes the face. The example demonstrates basic SVG rendering and animation with D3 within a React-compatible setup.
