This example displays a basic world map using geographic data loaded from the visionscarto-world-atlas TopoJSON source. The visualization fetches the TopoJSON file and prepares it for rendering, though the mapping step is currently commented out. The code imports d3 and topojson-client, using TopoJSON’s feature conversion to transform the data. The SVG container is sized to fit its parent element, with axes and scales defined in the viz module but not yet applied to the map.
