This example visualizes the top 10 countries by projected 2020 population using a horizontal bar chart. The React app fetches UN population data from a CSV file, then uses d3.scaleBand and d3.scaleLinear to map countries and population values to SVG rectangles. Axis ticks and labels are generated with d3 scale methods, while the chart is rendered entirely through React’s declarative SVG elements.
