The visualization plots yearly export values between China and Japan as a red scatterplot on axes with gridlines. A dropdown menu, built with a reusable `dropDownMenu` module using D3’s data joins, offers country options but currently controls only the x-axis selection. Data loads from a CSV of worldwide exports (2000–2016) via `d3.csv`, with scales and axes created by `scaleLinear`, `axisLeft`, and `axisBottom`. The SVG renders circles with `d3.select` and appends labels for title and axis names.
