This visualization displays 2022 US auto sales by brand as a pie chart, with a legend showing each brand’s name, percentage of total sales, and sales volume in thousands. Built with D3 v5, it loads CSV data from a GitHub gist via `d3.csv`, computes pie arcs using `d3.pie`, and renders paths with `d3.arc`. A sequential color scale (`d3.scaleOrdinal`) assigns colors, while custom legend text is positioned using SVG groups and transforms.
