A smiley face rendered in SVG responds to mouse movement by shifting its eyebrows. Built with D3.js, the example demonstrates fundamental DOM manipulation via the `select` and `arc` APIs from D3 v5. The face is drawn on a 960 by 500 pixel SVG canvas within an HTML page, using a linked `bundle.js` to orchestrate the dynamic eyebrow repositioning. The minimal styling via `styles.css` keeps the canvas full-bleed. The interaction is limited to the visual state changes described; no additional data sources are involved.
