This piece displays a visual grid of alternating horizontal and vertical strips that are revealed through two contrasting circular masks. Built with the D3 library (version 6.6.1), it generates 100 semi-transparent rectangular bands in each orientation, with one mask using a black background and the other using white to invert the visible regions. The composition forms an intersecting pattern that echoes Sol LeWitt’s geometric style, rendered entirely through programmatic SVG element creation.
