This example displays a stacked bar chart of population by country, segmented by religion, using data from a Gist derived from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The visualization is built with the Vega-Lite API, which registers Vega and Vega-Lite to render SVG output, and includes a tooltip handler from vega-tooltip. The code fetches data via `d3.csv`, applies a custom configuration for axis styling, and sorts the bars in descending order.
