This example visualizes the Missing Migrants Dataset, a collection of events where each point represents a single incident. It plots reported dates on the x-axis against the total number of dead and missing on the y-axis, using a logarithmic scale for the latter to accommodate the wide range of values. The visualization is rendered as an SVG using React and D3 v5, with custom axis components for the bottom and left sides, and marks that display a tooltip with the formatted date on hover. Data is loaded asynchronously via a CSV file using D3's `csv` function.
