This example presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal layout where each node is a country name. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to draw the branching connections, with labels sized inversely to their depth. The data comes from a local `data.json` file, and the entire SVG rendering supports pan and zoom through D3’s `zoom` behavior, with text styled via the Playfair Display font.
