A streamgraph visualization shows the total number of persons of concern per year, grouped by country of origin, using data from UNHCR Population Statistics. The stacked areas are rendered in SVG with d3.v4, using d3.stack with a wiggle offset and inside-out ordering to create the flowing shape. Labels are positioned via d3-area-label, while d3.scaleTime and d3.scaleLinear map the axes. The code filters out countries with low total counts and interpolates yearly values between recorded data points.
