This example displays a world map using an equal-area natural Earth projection. Landmasses are rendered in teal with lighter graticules and country borders drawn from the World Atlas TopoJSON dataset. It uses `d3.geoNaturalEarth1`, `d3.geoPath`, and `d3.geoGraticule` to project geographic features, while TopoJSON’s `feature` and `mesh` methods process the topology into SVG paths. The visualization is built with React, which fetches the data via `d3.json` and renders the map as static SVG elements.
