Baseball: Arranging Tables
A new dataset from the Lahman Baseball Database: 108 team-season records, 12 teams, nine years (2010–2018), six quantitative attributes. This package does not use the instructor's fallback dataset.

1. Record your own radial-chart ranking
Do this before viewing the other charts or inspecting numerical data. Look only at the donut below. Choose the five teams you think have the largest slices, from largest to fifth largest. Make your own first guesses; a wrong guess is a valid result.
Your first recorded ranking is saved in this browser and included in the report. It is not replaced by the correct answers.
2. Your radial-chart comparison
3. Your name and public dataset
Open GitHub Gist. Set the filename to hw7_baseball.csv, paste the copied CSV into the large contents box, then choose Create public gist. On the new gist, click Raw and copy the browser's URL.
The charts work locally; verification connects them to the exact dataset you will submit.
4. Publish in VizHub and build your PDF
After verifying the raw URL and recording your ranking, click Copy VizHub code. Open the VizHub HTML Starter, sign in and fork it. In your fork's index.html, click inside the code editor, press Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+V. Save/run and make it public.
Paste the address of your own fork, not the starter's address.
The report includes ten chart captures, answers, code snippets, both public links and your actual ranking. Review it, then print to PDF.
Save or restore your setup and first ranking
A backup helps when moving to another browser. Restore only your own previously recorded initial ranking.

All required chart arrangements
The report automatically captures all ten states. These buttons let you inspect and compare the arrangements.
Q1B: one key, three orderings
Every height shows runs scored in 2018. Derived ordering uses runs scored minus runs allowed, not a replacement height.
Q1C: two keys, two alignments
Same 108 values, team order, year colors and vertical scale. With the scale held fixed, individual grouped bars occupy less height than nine-season stacks; this is discussed in the report.
Q2: matrix alignment
Only team row positions change. Chronological years, cell values and the complete sequential color scale stay fixed.
Q3A: radial chart
Q3B: parallel coordinates
One line per team-season. All 108 lines, per-axis scales, league colors and opacity remain unchanged.
