Map of Nuclear Explosions with a Menu
rachelhahn

This is a visualization of the dataset Nuclear Explosions that shows where each deployments went off by latitute and longitude. The world map behind the points is a Natural Earth type map using the World Atlas TopoJSON. When the user hovers over each point, they can see the name of the device followed by the latitude and logitude of that deployment. This visualization gives the user the opportunity to choose which deployments to show based on the purpose of the deployments. For example, the visualization will start with only showing those that were for the purpose of a weapons development program.
