I plugged the Pantheon dataset into this dataviz template by Curran. There are 62875 people in this dataset - Entries that did not have a birth date were filtered from the original dataset.

The dataset inherits many of the biases and limitations from the user-generated content it originates from. In this case, culturally memorable people are ascertained to be those with biographies in than 15 language translations in Wikipedia.

I like how it helps analyse cultural, and civilisational output through the ages, and highlights the cultural power of European civilisation.
