3D Interactive Brain Model
This project provides an interactive 3D visualization of the human brain, allowing users to explore different brain structures and learn about their functions.
Features
- Anatomically positioned 3D model of the human brain with major structures
- Interactive navigation with zoom and rotation controls
- Automatic 3D rotation that pauses during user interaction
- Clickable brain parts that display detailed functional information
- Labeled parts for easy identification
- Visually distinct colors to differentiate brain regions
Brain Structures Included
- Cerebral Cortex
- Cerebellum
- Brain Stem
- Thalamus
- Hypothalamus
- Amygdala
- Hippocampus
- Corpus Callosum
- Frontal Lobe
- Parietal Lobe
- Temporal Lobe
- Occipital Lobe
- Basal Ganglia
How to Use
- Click and drag to rotate the brain model (auto-rotation will pause)
- Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out
- Click on any brain structure to view information about its function
- Labels identify each part of the brain
- Auto-rotation will resume after user interaction stops
Technologies Used
- Three.js for 3D rendering
- CSS2DRenderer for HTML labels in 3D space
- OrbitControls for camera manipulation and auto-rotation
