HP2020 Progress data measures progress in health status of population groups by characteristics such as: race and ethnicty, educational attainment, family income, disability status,sex, and geographic location.
Attributes, description, types:
- Final Progress Status Category, Health status (target met or exceeded, Improved, little or no detectable change, got worse), ordinal
- educational attainment (Less than high school, high school graduate, some college, associate degree, 4-year college degree, advanced degree): ordinal
- family income (poor, near poor, middle income, near-high income, high income), ordinal
- race and ethnicity (American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, two or more races, Hispanic or Latino, Black, not Hispanic or Latino, White, not Hispanic or Latino), categorical
- geographic location (rural or nonmetropolitan areas, urban or metropolitan geographic location), categorical
- disability status (persons with disabilities or activity limitations, persons without disabilities or activity limitations), categorical.
